One Year

until I can be rid of these retarded retainers for the daytime.
I highly doubt that anyone is going to take me seriously with my partially impaired speech due to these retarded retainers. Ugh.

At this moment, in lieu of being at piano lesson, I'm at home. I've a lot of homework to do and get done. Which isn't very nice to think about.

What more can I say today...? Hmm. I want to (learn to) play Apologize by One Republic someday. Youtube! Haha.

Okay, I shall now put an end to this senseless nonsense.

Today

I was happy today. Until about 4:40 P.M. when I finally gathered the courage to check my email and faced disappointment. I wasn't selected to be a Questbridge finalist. I cried for a few minutes, but you know what? I'm okay. Questbridge was simply an opportunity I chose to take and to work hard to qualify for, but not becoming a finalist is not the end of the world. It's just the end of the program for me. It's okay, because everything comes to an end, and it's not necessarily always a happy ending. You just cannot expect that all the time. So here I continue with my Common Application for regular decision, and here I continue to work hard to achieve my goals. I will get into at least one of the schools that I ranked, and I will be happy regardless of rejection notices, because in the end, everything works out just fine. Decision Making

Why is decision making so difficult, anyway? Goodness. It is currently a quarter to four in the afternoon, and I just thought that I would take a couple of minutes (and then some, as we all probably already know) to do this because as I was eating yogurt (blueberry, yum) a few minutes ago, it occurred to me how much time has passed since I last did this. About a week plus a few days. If you care to know. Seriously, though, life is hard. I mean, the concept and principle of it is deceivingly simple.
